Patroness of Martyrs, Weavers & Poisoning

Little is known about this saint. She is commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. She's venerated for her healing abilities and cared for prisoners who were imprisoned because of their Christian faith. She fed and often cured them of illnesses and poisonings. St. Anastasia was told she must renounce her faith. She refused and was finally killed for her steadfast belief and faith.

"Holy Father you are the master weaver of our lives weaving in colors I might not see or comprehend until the tapestries that we are, are done and we are homeward bound. As a weaver I sit at my loom and I rejoice in the in the rhythm and colors I weave praying that they will be of benefit to the one who is touched by them. Through St. Anastasia’s example may my faith remain steadfast."
